Speedy Gonzales! Now you run holding on to my finger tips and I have to catch up. You confidently balance yourself and take 2-3 steps on your own. Nana calls you 'Rogdo' (Rolling stone) :))) watching you take those steps :)). You love to kick the ball all over the place, truly the FIFA2010 mood is catching up.

You have made our house helpers pull their hair early morning by following them and trying to grab on to their cleaning/cooking tools :))). When the floor is wet, you want to go down and thats the only time you are forced to stay-put, and you hate that grueling 15 minutes. You love to get off the bed on your own and run away from us to play catching cook.

You adore children and you meet a lot of them at our building reception and at the play park . Lil Hadia (5yrs) completely took control over you by showering kisses, stretching you lips apart so that you would drink milk :)))and rocking you on the swing with hard jerks :)))...you could not tolerate all that so you gave her a shout :))), she also gave you her scooter and took you on fast rides where you almost fell off :))))!!! Her older sister said "Gareth is so cute Maashhallah" - that sounded sweet! Lil Audrey spent the day with you and LO!!! she not only knows how to give the looks that could kill, but also knows how to fight, she pulled your hair and left you sobbing for a while :(.

Some words you said this week are Sun, Cat, Jesus, Box, Dirt...I am loosing count. Also your bye's have made a come back after two weeks of mysterious abstention :)))).

Next week you turn one and Daddy and I still can't believe it.

Party time! tra la lala laaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!

Your 4th tooth emerged out early this week and jeez that does hurt, you nibble anything and everything you catch hold of including our fingers! You walk a lot holding our fingers, I for sure get tons of exercise along with you. We took you for a check up this week again and your cough has subsided, I guess the puff your doc suggested worked. You weighed 11.5!!!

Your obsessions include:

1: Crawling at lightning speed and climbing out into the balcony every time we open the french windows.

2: Winging to be taken out for non stop walks that never ends even after walking the length, breadth, following everyone stepping out of the elevator to the exit door, going to the rear exit to check out if daddy's car has been parked, to checking if the 'cat (you say that word)' has woken up :D.

3: Peek a boo's

4: Catching cook with mommy.

5: Sticking your hand in everyone's mouth to check their teeth..including people on TV!!!!!!!

This week Serena, your cousins Kenisha and Kiana came by to play with you and they crawled and danced with you. We also celebrated Jorann's bday you played soooo much with her and Jadon that you refused to have lunch!!!Your Godparents visited you and lil Audrey gave you the cold shoulder AGAIN, dun worry lil man ... just a couple more months and she will say - mama, wanna go to play with Gareth ;).

I am enjoying every micro-minute with you, Love you.

Your 2lower & 1 upper central incisors have finally surfaced above your gums and my poor lil fella had to go through hell with the usual repercussions (cold, running nose, cough and throwing up). Your Avozinhia who has been dreaming about how cute her bunny boy will look :) with the teeth is thrilled and has a lot of advice to help you go through it without much uneasiness. We saw your paediatrician this week, she was amazed seeing you and especially when you said 'down' after she held you :D....so she put you down and you explored every corner of her office and even wanted to play peek-a-boo with her. Some words you said this week are 'zip, worm (from your book 'who is hiding in the garden), down, dirt... etc. You imitate us speak, cough or utter any other sounds :)). It's a joy to watch you grow. Every day this week after you wake up, you utter the word 'Ka' and look out for your Nana and O what joy when you see her, you leap into her arms.

This week started with a crawl down the aisle for your A. Martina's 3 in one (Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation) ordination to a crawl late night till 10pm for your cousin Tia's 1st birthday party. Your Nana turn to stay with you starts with this week, your cousins were as usually cranky about this arrangement. You love to play with nana especially your peek-a-boos and you get to see a lot of Hindi soaps on TV along with her. This week you had fun with your cousins. The Usgare's visited you this week and you were after Christina (Sharmila's daughter) pink girly bag. This week you ate tons of tender coconut and you relished every bit of it and what surprised me is that you would drink ALL the water.Sadly this week all the mangoes Avozinhia sent were over and you ate the most of the lot :))).

This week your 2nd cousin was born to A. Rima and U.Bijoy at 22:15 UAE time. We will go to see as soon as A. Rima recoups from the post delivery blues.
