Baby Bump

You are very nurturing and you understood the family tree concept at 2 years. You know who your grandparents, uncles, 1st and 2nd cousins are.

You also begun asking us for a baby sibling at 2 and it has been a long wait and now you just cant wait for November! Your kisses and conversations with my baby bump are amusing.

At first you wanted a baby sister and you started caring for your little blue eyed doll. You gave it buggy rides and had her sitting by you whilst you had snacks in the evening, while you read books, played with cars and whilst watching your favorite series. Eventually you wanted to take it around when we went out shopping and even when you went to school, so daddy was getting a bit embarrassed when people spotted his son with a doll :) and decided to lure you with other toys to get attached to :)))). You eventually forgot the Doll :))).
Now you want a boy as majority of the kidies in our friend circle are girls and you do not have a boy companion. I can't believe that you convinced your 10 year old cousin to change her desire for a baby girl cousin :)) with your thoughts justified. You have been announcing to the world and doing our job and it's really cute the way you do it.
"My mummy has a baby and is sick, that's why she is resting at home". I can't blame you after seeing me severely nauseated and shrinking by the day.

You seem to be amused when i tell you that the baby movements are like kicks...you go to my belly and request for another kick and you keep asking me if baby kicked and you giggle non stop.

You also flash a torch and give the bump a good stare and after a while you smirk as I tell you stories of how your cousin Euan would flash a torch on my bump whilst he was in :).

One day I asked you what baby smells like? And you said pizza and later you said sadly...it smells like nothing :).

I get tons of kisses on my belly bump and you miss snuggling by my belly and lazing or talking to me endlessly. That was your favorite tucking place :). You miss locking your legs between mine and so many things, but you are a very understanding son.

One day you had tons of questions of how Jesus gave to me and how I put it in my tummy. And I had to be very careful about the answers and at the end of the reasoning session...he asked me "Did he put baby in a box and give it to you?"

Another day you wanted to know how baby will come out on November and I told you the doctors will have to cut my belly and he was in tears. I did not realize that he was thinking about the pain I will go through when I used the word "cut". So he asked me if baby can just crawl out without hurting me :), and I said I would have to tell baby to do that and crawl out. And later he suggested that baby should crawls out from my mouth.

Lightning Mcqueen

Oh Gosh! You fell in love with the character Lightning when you watched the movie CARS (part 1) when you were 2 and it took you a long time to understand CARS (Part2) by 3.5 years you loved that one too. You absolutely loved one scene from the movie when Tow Mater takes Lightning to tip tractors, you would break into peals of laughter and make me rewind that scene, so I actually found the scene on youtube and put it on repeat and the laughter was non stop :)

When you were 2, we went to London, you picked up a little lightning Mcqueen from Hamleys and you both are inseparable and now you also seem to like Tow Mater, so we picked a little Tow Mater from ELC on your 3rd birthday. I watch you playing mostly with the two of them and tipping toy tractors :))) and towing little cars. Your cousin Emma gave you an awesome talking remote control car that you fell in love with.

Your car collection is massive - a huge tub of miniature toys and another large box of remote control cars. And you never stop demanding for more!!!

Your 3rd birthday at home had the Lightning Mcqueen theme and your cake was fantastic!

Daddy's gifts for you are always a huge surprise and a lot of research goes on behind it. He disappears from home on weekends scanning the market and whatever he gets is a wonderful thing. He made your day by buying you a car that you can drive :). When he went to the US, he picked your entire wardrobe of the CARS movie.

Your very on lightning sofa gifted by Maria (daddy's colleague)
Your own garden sit out - you totally love it by your cousins Kenisha & Kiana.
For Spring A.Serena took you to the miracle Garden and you were fascinated with the lightning flower car
Your buddy Elhric who is a Lightning Mcqueen fan. You took over his car and wanted to take it home too :)).

Dinosaurs

We love to fuel your passion. At 3 you knew he names and recognized at least 9-10dinosaurs and wanted to be a paleontologist. It was a learning curve for mummy too :-). Some of them were:

T.Rex, BrachiosaurusStegosaurusMaiasauraTriceratopsAnkylosaurusVelociraptor.

In 12 months you knew so much about them and knew at least 30 different dinosaur names. Thanks to all the people who gifted you books, videos, and toys and to those who showed interest and listened patiently to your stories on Dino's and fossils. You had only one buddy who was into Dino's was Nathyn. Daddy was elated that at 3 you already wanted to be a scientist :-))). You shared your dinosaur stories with your school teachers and friends. Your favorite of all was Trex and since he ate a lot of meat, you claimed you too loved meat. Every morning you would tell daddy "Daddy please get me meat from the supermarket, I love meat'. You loved the Dino Song and watching the Dinosaur Train series, your favorite lol video was the Farting Dino and you listened and watched paleontologist lecture on Fossils (something I was surprised about). So much so we celebrated your birthday in school with the Dinosaur theme :-).

You totally digged doing creative stuff on Dinos. You designed your first dino sticker story book, did some fancy dino costume, dino story puppet, dino face paintings, etc but your favorite of all was doing the frozen dino fossil that you would love to melt/excavate  in the bath tub and you would do it again and again and again :-). I would encourage all your antiques incuding science volcano experiment with Soda-bicarbonate + vinegar haha!
