You are very nurturing and you understood the family tree concept at 2 years. You know who your grandparents, uncles, 1st and 2nd cousins are.
You also begun asking us for a baby sibling at 2 and it has been a long wait and now you just cant wait for November! Your kisses and conversations with my baby bump are amusing.
At first you wanted a baby sister and you started caring for your little blue eyed doll. You gave it buggy rides and had her sitting by you whilst you had snacks in the evening, while you read books, played with cars and whilst watching your favorite series. Eventually you wanted to take it around when we went out shopping and even when you went to school, so daddy was getting a bit embarrassed when people spotted his son with a doll :) and decided to lure you with other toys to get attached to :)))). You eventually forgot the Doll :))).
Now you want a boy as majority of the kidies in our friend circle are girls and you do not have a boy companion. I can't believe that you convinced your 10 year old cousin to change her desire for a baby girl cousin :)) with your thoughts justified. You have been announcing to the world and doing our job and it's really cute the way you do it.
"My mummy has a baby and is sick, that's why she is resting at home". I can't blame you after seeing me severely nauseated and shrinking by the day.
You seem to be amused when i tell you that the baby movements are like kicks...you go to my belly and request for another kick and you keep asking me if baby kicked and you giggle non stop.
You also flash a torch and give the bump a good stare and after a while you smirk as I tell you stories of how your cousin Euan would flash a torch on my bump whilst he was in :).
One day I asked you what baby smells like? And you said pizza and later you said sadly...it smells like nothing :).
I get tons of kisses on my belly bump and you miss snuggling by my belly and lazing or talking to me endlessly. That was your favorite tucking place :). You miss locking your legs between mine and so many things, but you are a very understanding son.
One day you had tons of questions of how Jesus gave to me and how I put it in my tummy. And I had to be very careful about the answers and at the end of the reasoning session...he asked me "Did he put baby in a box and give it to you?"
Another day you wanted to know how baby will come out on November and I told you the doctors will have to cut my belly and he was in tears. I did not realize that he was thinking about the pain I will go through when I used the word "cut". So he asked me if baby can just crawl out without hurting me :), and I said I would have to tell baby to do that and crawl out. And later he suggested that baby should crawls out from my mouth.
